Come Rock With Me In Jamaica returns for the first time under its original 1968 title and sleeve on the famed Treasure Isle label. Originally released in Jamaica by Treasure Isle and retitled Soul of Jamaica in the UK by Trojan, this reissue restores the album to its authentic Jamaican identity.
Featuring reggae titan Tommy McCook, leader of the Skatalites, alongside Rocksteady godfather Alton Ellis, top Treasure Isle vocalist Phyllis Dillon, and The Paragons, Come Rock With Me In Jamaica represents a golden era of musical innovation and collaboration. The album also showcases luminaries like Joya Landis and The Jamaicans, delivering timeless tracks such as ‘Woman Go Home’.
