TWO FABULOUS SIDES ON 7-INCH VINYL BACK-TO-BACK FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME
THE WINSTONS scored a million-seller in the USA with their 1969 recording “Color Him Father”. The B-side of the first press featured “Amen Brother” which became the most sampled track of all time. But it is “Color Him Father” that tugged at the heartstrings of just about every Northern and Rare Soul fan.
One of the greatest tracks to crossover the Northern, Modern Soul and Country scene is “I Hate Hate” by RAZZY Bailey. His defining piece of social commentary was originally cut for Boblo Records in 1973 and quickly reissued by MGM with additional handclaps. Here Razzy is joined by the Neighborhood Kids for Aquarian Records in 1974. From the soundtrack to the 2016 road movie ‘American Honey’.
Another exclusive from Charly Records.
