Happy 50th birthday to Charly Records!

CHARLY RECORDS launched in the UK in 1974 and for half a century has been at the forefront of Britain’s independent record labels. It is both cherished and collected for its prestigious rock, blues and – perhaps most notably – R&B songbook. Thanks to its many acquisitions at home and abroad the Charly catalogue has topped the charts internationally on numerous occasions and has enriched many TV commercials and film soundtracks.

This deluxe 2CD, 50-track, compendium pays homage to Charly’s outstanding contribution to the music industry and we look forward to a wealth of new releases for the next generation of discerning collectors.
